What we're building
GenZ Link started as an iOS app for people moving around the Kathmandu valley — students looking for a room near campus, graduates looking for a first job, families selling a scooter. The web app is the same marketplace, opened up to anyone with a browser.
The principle has not changed: put the listing in front of the person nearest to it, let them talk to each other directly, and stay out of the way.

Meet in person, in public
Inspect the room, vehicle or shop before any money changes hands. Bring someone with you if you can.
Never pay in advance
No genuine landlord, seller or employer needs a deposit before you have seen the place or signed anything.
Check the paperwork
Blue book and ownership transfer for vehicles, lease and citizenship for rentals, registration for businesses.
Trust your instincts
If a price is far below market or someone is rushing you, slow down. Report the listing and we will review it.

Contact supportDoes it cost anything to post?
No. Posting a room, job, vehicle or business is free, and there is no commission when a deal goes through. We do not charge either side.
How long until my listing appears?
Listings go into a review queue after you submit them. Most are approved within a few hours. You will get a notification when the status changes, and you can track it from your dashboard.
Why do I need a PIN instead of a password?
The app and the website share one account system built around a 4-digit PIN plus an email OTP on sign up. It is quicker on a phone and still verified through your email address.
How do I contact someone about a listing?
Open the listing and press “Show contact details”. Posters choose which methods to share — phone, SMS, WhatsApp or email. Contact details stay hidden until you ask for them.
What happens when I report a listing?
It goes to our review team with the reason you selected. If it breaks the rules we take it down; repeat offenders lose posting access. If you cannot use the Report button, email report@genzlinkapp.com with a link to the listing.
Can I edit or remove a listing after posting?
Yes. Everything you post sits under Dashboard, in My listings, where you can edit it, mark it expired, or delete it entirely.
Terms of Service
- You must be the owner of what you list, or authorised by the owner to list it.
- Listings must be accurate. Misleading prices, fake photos or bait listings get removed.
- No discriminatory language in job or accommodation posts.
- GenZ Link is an introduction platform — we are not party to any agreement you make.
- Accounts that repeatedly break these rules lose posting access.
Privacy Policy
- We store your email, username, optional phone number and the listings you post.
- Your location is used to rank results by distance. You control the area from the header picker.
- Contact details on a listing are only revealed when a visitor asks to see them.
- We never sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
- You can delete your account and everything attached to it from your profile settings.
